Kelly's Kids Coordinates {Spring 2012}

As promised, here are all of the projects I did that were Kelly's Kids items or items to match a Kelly's Kids piece.  I love this new style they came out with this year {vintage romper} . . .
Made these sea creature monag shirts to coordinate with these "under the sea" collection bubble shorts . . .
I also got the same bubble shorts for Evynne and made this ice cream cone to go with them . . .

You may remember I mentioned the ice cream cone applique being a good one when you only have small swatches of fabric to work with!  There are a few in this post :)

This is the Kelly's Kids top I bought for Evynne to wear with the same shorts above.  I just added the orange "E".  It's gonna serve double duty for a certain athletic team in the Fall! . . .

This one is to match bubble shorts out of the turquoise polka dot fabric . . .
And to match capris that are the pink stripe with the turquoise dot ruffle . . .
Simple red to match last year's white with red dot capris . . .

This matches those same white/red dot capris as well as this year's red/white stripe bermuda shorts . . .
My sister bought this good looking polo for my nephew to go with some linen shorts.  We added the "E" in the linen color . . .

This is the MAIN thing Evynne wanted from this season's catalog . . .

I love putting "E's" on things as opposed to all three initials so they can be sold or used by others.   I gave Evynne the option on this dress though {since I know at least two girls get to wear it even if I put initials on it!}, but she just wanted an "E".  I think it's adorable!

I think this swimsuit is from last year and then we just did the Target cover up to match . . .

And last, some flip flops on a sleeveless monag frill shirt to match the madras bubble shorts {fabric used for flowers} . . .
And that wraps it up for this season!  Already looking forward to seeing what's to come in the Fall!

spring has sprung . . .

and around here, it already feels like summer! So, it's time to kick it in to high-gear and get the short sleeves done!!!

Love this design I found to match this skirt from Chez Ami. This one is for a friend, but Evynne has one too and I love the way it turned out!

A painting birthday party shirt . . .

Coordinating dresses for twins.

And a few things for my girls . . .

This one goes with some capris my mom made out of the fabric that's in the "E".

You gotta love it when you find a $7 dress at Walmart and can make it cute . . .

It is adorable on her too!

I got a few garanimals shirts at Walmart, too. This one I made to go with these knit Hannah Anderson capris I found at a consignment sale . . .

These are going with lime bottoms . . .

Love. These.

And the last is another Walmart shirt from the "big girls" section. Tear. My big girl is getting SO big. This is going with some little yellow knit shorts from Gymboree. I think that made the whole outfit like $7 since I got them at the outlet at the end of the season. Yahoo! . . .

big girls and football moms

Some of my best customers have 2nd grade girls this year and it's fun to work with them to find designs/fabrics that are age appropriate for their "big girls". Here are just a couple of the ones I've done for one of them this year on size 10 Monag lettuce edge shirts. {Note: the first two pumpkins in the last post were also for these two customers.}

We always have the fun challenge of making shirts to match different skirts!

This one is going with a turquoise minky dot skirt. So cute!

This fabric is becoming a favorite of mine. Below is the 4th item I've used it on in the past month!

And we moms tend to forget ourselves, but I loved this idea! One of the moms I mentioned above has a son who plays football and she decided she needed a "momma shirt" to wear to the games. Love it! . . .

And when here sister heard about it, she decided she needed one too {different team, obviously}! . . .
