Christmas Cuteness

I just couldn't resist posting the pics my sister took with her professional camera of these little cuties . . .
I just wish my girls liked their cousin! ;)
So, as you've seen, these were my girls Christmas nightgowns (sans gingerbread from Kelly's Kids) . . .
Since we always try to coordinate jammies with Ethan, I decided on the Gingerbread boy/girl set.
I had some issues with my machine jumping on Ethan's because it was very tight in the 6x10 hoop.  I do wish the Singer XL-400 came with a 5x7 hoop!  Anyway, the head was a little mal-shaped, but it worked out ok.
Soon I should also be getting some pics of the cousins in their coordinating elf outfits.  Evynne's monag pleated dress went with these adorable Kelly's Kids leggings . . .
Elly's monag frill shirt went with some ruffle pants (that Grandmomma made and were handed down from Evynne) out of the dot fabric with red gingham ruffle . . .
And Ethan's went with some Kelly's Kids madras pants (excuse the iphone photos!) . . .
I also made the ornament trio shirt for Evynne to coordinate with the smocked one I had for Elly (another hand-me-down).  This went with a turquoise Kelly's Kids tutu skirt (Elly had turquoise gingham pants) . . .
That was it for my girls (thank goodness!)  These next two were for a friend . . .
This is one of those that takes all day, but it's worth it because it's so cute!
This one is also cute, but I sure wish it had a thicker satin stitch . . .
These little elf shoes turned out cute for a customer . . .
A matching set for some sisters . . .
Their grandmother liked it so much, their mom decided to get her one as a Christmas gift . . .
And lastly coordinating Christmas themed applique names for a brother and sister . . .
Oh, really one more thing!  I did about five of these for a Christmas parade (you may remember that I did seventeen last year!) . . .
Next post is the Kelly's Kids coordinates from Fall/Winter, which you saw some of in this post.  Better late than never!

never posted

Summer was a slower time of sewing and since it was more sporadic, I didn't post pictures on the blog as often.  I realized I never posted all of these pictures and I like to document all of my projects here, so here goes . . .
Evynne really wanted these flip flops so I made this shirt go with turquoise gingham capris.
A few for friends . . .

A few for one of my "Ethan" customers :) . . .

A few for sweet Cooper . . .
Lovin' the many uses of the mini embroidery designs!

Thought this one turned out super-cute to go with brown gingham shorts.

I'm in full swing with fall stuff now.  Just finished spiders for my girls and am getting pretty busy with orders.  Good busy, not stressful busy.  You'll be seeing me here more regularly again now.

bags and baby

I've done a lot of bags recently.  First being, a backpack for my own Kindergartener . . .

And then I got to do all of these for a sweet lady in my church and some of her family members . . .
{Ignore that most of the bags are wet from me trying to get the center marks off!}
I think she got these bags on sale at the Christmas Tree Shops for $1.99 each!!!  I just did the wording, the embroidered designs were already on the bags.
And I did bright pink and turquoise bags for my girls to have as church bags, but apparently didn't take a picture.  They're already dirty now so a picture at this point wouldn't even do them justice. However, I did take a picture of this one I did for one of Evynne's friend's birthday . . .
Again, forgot to take my own pictures, but enjoy some iphone photos of these cute bags . . .
Also from Christmas Tree Shops for $5.99 and $3.99, I believe.  And they are good, sturdy bags.  Not to mention, easy to monogram!
And today we celebrated the upcoming arrival of a friend's first baby.  They did not find out what it is so I had the challenge pleasure of coming up with some cute, gender-neutral pieces! . . .

Since the daddy-to-be is my husband's co-worker as in, they share an office space, we had to do something just to please him . . .
I also just discovered quite a few pictures I haven't posted yet so there will be more coming soon!

OH, and take note, I've been working on updating my applique design pages!  I finally got the embroidery fonts page redone and now you can view all of my fonts.  YAY! {I'm still working on the applique fonts page.}
